I am a licensed professional clinical counselor, and an EMDR-Certified trained therapist. My areas of focus are trauma, depression, sexual abuse, anxiety, PTSD, and social anxiety. I started working last year in a private practice, and realized that most of my clients had suffered some form of trauma in their lives that was keeping them stuck. I trained to be a counselor because I truly wanted to help people overcome their past. As I came across more and more clients struggling with their trauma symptoms, I started looking around for ways to better prepare myself to help the population I served. I got trained in EMDR therapy and started using it as a modality to help my existing clients. Since COVID, I’ve been offering remote EMDR and am amazed at the results. EMDR changes lives.
